Sponge blasting media, is an abrasive that has been encapsulated inside the sponge. The media and method is specially designed for surface treatment in low dust work environments.

In short, blasting with sponge provides a long list of advantages compared to conventional blasting:

  10. Improved surface treatment and chloride removal - Removes 60% more chloride than conventional blast

  11. Can form 0 to 125 micron surface roughness on steel surface
